I Post Yet Another Filler Episode in the Name of Procrastination
Hello, internet! It's been awhile since I wrote to you, for vacation reasons. I had intended to post more over the summer, but that got derailed as soon as I found a semi-reasonable excuse to be lazy - in this case, travelling! Anyways I have yet another filler episode of poetry called "Today", which I conceived of while thinking of the impossible problem of living "In the moment" without consciously working to think "In the moment". Enjoy?
Today I woke the sun Today.
Flew Today - left the bus
home - in the port-
and Today I learned
Then I knew the meaning of Today
But didn't understand. Today
is the unbreakable mirror,
Today is a sightless curse.
Today I wept, sang, Today I cut a part
of my heart and fed Today it.
It never grows back.
Today I lived a thousand lives.
